Affixing Your Race Number / Timing Chip
Each relay team will receive (2) race bib numbers. Each race bib will have a timing chip attached to the reverse side of the race bib. Do not fold or cut your bib number for any reason. Please use the four small holes provided for your safety pins and affix the number to the front of your shirt or jacket. Your number must be visible at the start, finish, and all points on the course so you are not asked to leave the course or otherwise be disqualified. Wearing your race bib will help volunteers identify you as part of a relay team, so they may direct you to the relay exchange point. You will have to make contact (High five etc.) with your relay partner in the exchange area before your partner will be allowed to begin on the course.
Relay Participant Transportation
Following the start of the race, a bus will depart from the corner of C Street and El Paso at 7:45am. Participants for the second portion of the relay will be transported by this bus directly to the relay point. After the relay is made the participants of the first portion of the relay will then be taken to the C Street trolley at the base of the Phoenix overpass bridge, where they can be transported back downtown to the finish line.
